I offer my congratulations to the Iraqis for voting despite the insurgency’s lame attempt to scare them away from the polls.  And to the Sunnis’ complaint about the election not being fair, remember that there was a Sunni in power for nearly 14 years (edit: my mind must’ve been back in the late 80s/early 90s instead of the present, as it should be more than 35), and if I recall correctly, he was a lousy leader.  And I’m willing to bet the farm that the Sunnis, despite the majority of them boycotting, will complain the loudest if the results don’t go their way.  But at least the dissenters of the new government won’t be tortured or killed by the government as it was under the aforementioned lousy leader; that’s what freedom allows people.
