U.S. Autism Rate Rises Sharply

This actually doesn’t surprise me, because my contention has always been that more people are autistic than are officially diagnosed, and more people have become aware now than even in the time I was diagnosed (about ’82 or 83, for those not immediately aware of when I was born).  I think eventually 1 in 166 will become 1 in 50 or fewer, because the advances will only make autism that much easier to detect.

And just to lighten the mood of someone who was reprimanded for something similar to this:  HOOBA-JOOBA WHA?!
