Split is better than sweep any day

Although the first game didn’t go so well, at least the Cubs are doing well so far in the nightcap (mid-afternooncap?).  Until today, it just doesn’t seem like they’ve had the energy that they had Opening Day (at least of games I’ve seen).  But we’re not even through the second week, so it is quite a bit early to make any lasting judgments on any team. Update: It’s Cubs 3-8, Padres 8-3. Not too shabby at all.

Here’s another story on Bolton.  Doesn’t it make you glad to know that the people in the Democratic Party whine so much about corruption, but when someone talks about corruption in the UN and wants to fix it, they oppose him?
