My heart goes out to the Londoners today. Such senseless attacks carried out by jihadists only underscore the reason to continue fighting them. It’s obviously true you can’t prevent every attack, but you can’t relax and let the enemy do all the fighting.
Speaking of that, the Cubs just seem to have quit. Seven in a row they’ve lost, and if Smoltz pitches a gem, it’ll be eight. And to add insult to injury, the Astro[ll]s have overtaken the Cubs in the standings. They need to get going, and they need to do it now.
